PRACTICAL INFORMATION

FAQs

1. How do I access the online conference platform?

An access link will be sent to the email address that you used to register to the conference. It will include your Sign In password. You can expect to receive it two days before the conference begins.

2. Do I need to download anything or use a particular browser to access the platform?

You do not need to download anything to access the conference platform. It can be accessed via your internet browser. Please use the web browser 'Google Chrome' to make use of all platform functions.

3. What do I do once I have signed in for the first time?

Explore the conference platform, and fill-in your personal profile. This can be done by clicking on 'Menu' in the top right hand corner of the Lobby space, and then 'My profile'. By creating a personal profile, you are supporting professional networking, indicating to other attendees what field you work in, and some information about yourself.

We encourage you to scan the conference programme and add sessions to your 'personal programme' - you will be prompted to do so when you click on 'Programme' and then select any session. This will allow you to, for example, identify in advance which of the parallel sessions (taking place on 1 October at 11:30, and on 2 October at 9:30) you are most interested in joining.

Finally, click on 'Menu' at the top right hand corner of the Lobby Space, and then on both 'Partners' and 'Participants' to identify organisations and participants you may want to reach out to before, during or after the conference.

4. Can I access the online conference platform before the conference begins?

It will be possible to access the platform two days before the beginning of the conference. Conference speakers will be given earlier access.

5. Do I have to sign up to participate in any sessions?

No, all attendees are able to access all sessions.
